Wassail * Wine
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 each cinnamon sticks
- 3 slices lemon
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 2 cups orange juice
- 6 cups red wine dry
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup sherry dry
- 2 each lemons sliced
- Boil the syrup mixture for 5 minutes and strain.
- Discard the cinnamon sticks and the lemon slices.
- Heat, but no not boil the punch ingredients.
- Combine with the syrup mixture, garnish with the lemon slices, and serve hot.
