Coney Island Sauce I
- 1/2 lb (.2 kg) ground beef
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 8 oz (224 grm). can tomato sauce
- 1 2 oz (56 grm). jar pimientos, minced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml). chili powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml). Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 ml). Accent (msg)
- Brown meat slowly; drain.
- Add onion, garlic, tomato sauce, pimientos, chili powder, Worcestershire and Accent.
- Simmer mixture for 1/2 hr.
- Sauce may be thinned with water if necessary.
