Easy and Authentic Shiro-an for Osechi

  1. Heat the sweetened beans and water in a frying pan.
  2. Mash beans lightly with a spoon.
  3. Add salt.
  4. Stir and simmer over low heat.
  5. It's done when the water is reduced and everything becomes nice and sticky.
