Squealer Bacon Burger

  1. Place bacon in single layer in parchment paper-lined sheet pans.
  2. Bake in 350 degrees F-convection oven 3 to 4 min.
  3. or until partially cooked.
  4. Remove from pan; drain.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Place in meat grinder or food processor; grind to form paste.
  7. Mix bacon paste with ground sirloin until well blended.
  8. Shape into 24 (4-oz.)
  9. patties (or shape into one 4-oz.
  10. patty for trial recipe).
  11. Season with salt and pepper.
  12. Cover and refrigerate until ready to cook.
  13. For each serving: Season 1 meat patty with salt and pepper.
  14. Grill on medium-high heat 2 to 3 min.
  15. on each side or until medium (160 degrees F), or desired doneness.
  16. Spread cut sides of roll with 2 Tbsp.
  17. garlic sauce.
  18. Place 1 lettuce leaf and 1 tomato slice on bottom half of roll; top with burger and 2 onion rings.
  19. Cover with top of roll.
