Creamy Hamburger Casserole
- 1 pound Ground Beef Or Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
- 16 ounces, weight Egg Noodles (I Do Half White, Half Wheat)
- 15 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
- 10 ounces, fluid Tomato Soup
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 2 cups Shredded Colby Jack Or Casserole Cheese, Divided Use
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat with chopped onions.
- When the meat is browned and the onions are translucent, remove skillet from heat and drain off the grease.
- Set the skillet aside.
- In a separate pot, cook noodles according to package instructions.
- When they are done, drain and rinse them.
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine all of the remaining ingredients (except the noodles and 1 cup of shredded colby jack cheese) in the meat skillet.
- Stir on low heat until cream cheese is melted and creamy.
- Add noodles, mix well.
- Put the mixture into a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Add remaining 1 cup cheese to the top and bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes.
- Enjoy your creamy, pink casserole!
