  1. Preheat greased grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Shape meat into four large balls.
  3. Use thumb to make hole in center of each ball.
  4. Fill each hole with one-fourth of the bacon, 1 Tbsp.
  5. cheese and 1 tsp.
  6. of the barbecue sauce.
  7. Flatten each into patty, completing enclosing filling in patty.
  8. Grill 8 min.
  9. Turn patties; brush with 1/4 cup of the remaining barbecue sauce.
  10. Grill an additional 4 min.
  11. or until burgers are medium doneness (160F).
  12. Meanwhile, brush cut sides of buns with the remaining barbecue sauce.
  13. Grill, cut-sides down, 1 to 2 min.
  14. or until buns are lightly toasted.
  15. Place lettuce on bottom halves of buns; top with tomatoes and burgers.
  16. Cover with tops of buns.
