Skillet Apple Dessert Recipe

  1. About 15 min before serving:
  2. Core apples; cut into 1/2 inch thick wedges.
  3. In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, in warm butter, cook apples, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and salt till apples are tender, about 5 min, stirring frequently.
  4. Spoon apples and their syrup into six dessert bowls.
  5. If desired, serve with heavy cream.
  6. Makes 6 servings.
