Our Family's Simple Pan-Fried Pork with Ginger

  1. Remove thin roots off the bean sprouts.
  2. Soak in water to crisp.
  3. Drain.
  4. Removing roots makes it taste much better!
  5. This steps takes 10 minutes per packet.
  6. Grate the ginger.
  7. Combine with sake and soy sauce.
  8. Rub the sauce prepared in Step 2 into the meat.
  9. Set aside for a whole day.
  10. This is also nice in bentos, so plan ahead.
  11. Spread out oil in a pan and pan-fry the meat.
  12. Remove, and stir-fry the bean sprouts briskly.
  13. Season lightly with salt.
  14. Dish up the meat and bean sprouts.
