Taco Style Lentils & Rice
- 34 cup lentils
- 34 cup brown rice
- 4 teaspoons bouillon
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 12 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cups water
- In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil and add all dry ingredients.
- Return to boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 50 minutes.
- Water should be absorbed and lentils tender.
- Serve alone as a slop or use as taco filling.
- Alternately, dump everything in a crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
