Taco Style Lentils & Rice

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil and add all dry ingredients.
  2. Return to boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 50 minutes.
  4. Water should be absorbed and lentils tender.
  5. Serve alone as a slop or use as taco filling.
  6. Alternately, dump everything in a crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
