Chickpea & black bean Burgers
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp djon mustard
- 1 packages hamburger buns
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 onion diced
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 4 cheese slices provolone or swiss or cheddar.( wateva u like)
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 3 tbsp bread crumbs
- in a medium pan heat up olive oil
- chop onion garlic.
- place in pan cook till onions are translucent cook on low avoid burning garlic
- in a food processor process drained beans add bread crumbs djon cumin and chilli powder and eggs ( if u don't have a food processor you can mash with a masher)
- once that becomes a play doh like mixture scoop out in a mixing bowl
- add your finished onion / garlic to bean mixture
- form Patty's.
- if its not sticking together try more breadcrumbs
- in the same pan regreased add your Patty's cook 4 minutes on each side add Swiss cheese or Cheddar
- make your burger & top with tablespoon of Greek yogurt and lettuce
- Enjoy
