Barnyard Cookies/San Diego Ut Recipe
- 1 tsp Almond extract
- 3/4 c. Butter flavored crisco
- 1 1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Egg
- 1 3/4 c. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1 c. Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. Pecan pcs
- 1 c. Rice krispies cereal
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat together till fluffy the almond extract, shortening, brown sugar, lowfat milk, vanilla and egg.
- In separate bowl, combine flour, salt and soda.
- Add in flour mix to other ingredients, blending well.
- Stir in chip, pecans and cereal.
- Place rounded tsp.
- of dough on a ungreased cookie sheet.
- Leaving 2 inches between cookies.
- Bake 10 to 13 min or possibly till golden brown around the edges.
- Makes 5 dozen.
