Perfect Potato Rolls Recipe

  1. Cook potatoes in sufficient water to reserve 1 1/2 c.. Don't SALT potatoes.
  2. Stir Crisco into warm mashed potatoes, add in sugar and salt.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Beat in Large eggs.
  5. Dissolve yeast in hot potato water.
  6. Add.
  7. Gradually mix in flour.
  8. Store in refrigerator, covered, overnight.
  9. Two hrs prior to baking, roll batter 1/4-inch thick.
  10. Cut with biscuit cutter, dip in melted butter and mix in half.
  11. Place on baking pan and let rolls rise in hot place till doubled (approximately 2 hrs).
  12. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 min.
