Pegi's Surprise Recipe
- 6 to 8 Italian sausages
- 3/4 pound sliced mushrooms
- White sauce (Aunt Penny's or possibly your own)
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 to 5 green onions
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 c. white wine
- Toasted English muffins
- Skin sausage.
- Brown and drain off fat.
- (I use a wok to cook this in.)
- Make white sauce.
- Add in sausage, mushrooms, garlic, onion, pepper and wine.
- Cook for 15 to 20 min.
- Serve over toasted English muffins with condiments.
