Kellogg's Recipe

  2. Heat butter in large saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add in marshmallows and stir till completely melted.
  4. Remove from heat.

  6. Add in KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal.
  7. Stir till well coated.
  8. 3.
  9. Using buttered spatula or possibly waxed paper, press mix proportionately in 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
  10. Cold slightly.
  11. Using 4-inch tree cookie cutter, cut into tree shapes.
  12. Decorate as desired with frosting and red cinnamon candies.
  13. Best if served the same day.
  14. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In a microwave safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallow at HIGH for 3 minues, stirring after 2 min.
  15. Stir till smooth.
  16. Follow steps 2 and 3 above.
  17. Microwave cooking times may vary.

  19. For best results, use fresh marshmallows.
  20. 1 jar (7 ounce.)
  21. marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.
  22. Diet, reduced calorie or possibly tub butter is not recommended.
  23. Store no more than two days in airtight container.
