Beef Steak with Lots of Veggies
- 1 slice Beef steak (thigh, loin, or rump)
- 1 as much as you'd like Vegetables (onion, green bell peppers, carrots, garlic, etc.)
- 1 clove Basil butter
- 1 Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Garlic soy sauce
- Slice the beef against the grain (as if cutting through the tendon) then pound it using the handle of your knife to soften.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Marinate the beef in olive oil for at least 30 minutes along with the chopped vegetables.
- I've heard this makes the resulting steak absorb the flavor of the vegetables, hence making it tender.
- Stir-fry the vegetables before cooking the meat.
- Using the same frying pan, cook the meat to your preference.
- Dish it up, and top with basil butter.
- Also serve with garlic soy sauce or your preferred steak sauce.
- Basil butter -
thigh, much, clove basil butter, salt, olive oil, garlic
