Rice Krispies Funny Faces

• 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
• 4 cups miniature marshmallows
• food coloring (optional)
• 6 cups kellogg's rice krispies cereal
• canned frosting or decorating gel
• assorted candy

1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
3. Remove from heat.
4. To turn the mixture a fun colour, stir in a few drops of food colouring, if desired.
5. Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal.
6. Stir until well coated.
7. Using 1/2 cup (125 mL) measuring cup coated with cooking spray divide warm cereal mixture into portions.
8. Using buttered hands shape each portion into a circular shape.
9. Decorate with frosting and/or candies.
10. Best if served the same day.
11. Microwave Directions: In microwavesafe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on High for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
12. Stir until smooth.
13. To tint a colour, stir in a few drops of food colouring, if desired.
14. Follow steps 2 and 3 above.
15. Microwave cooking times may vary.
