Turkey & Black Beans
- 12 lb ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 14 ounces petite diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 14 teaspoon oregano
- 14 teaspoon black pepper
- 14 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
- shredded cheese
- low-fat sour cream
- olive
- tortilla (optional)
- In a large frying pan brown ground turkey & onion.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir and simmer (uncovered) for about 10 - 15 minutes until thickened.
- Serve with shredded cheese, low-fat sour cream, and olives.
- Your family can enjoy the mixture in a tortilla, if desired.
