Birdseed Muffins Recipe
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. wholemeal flour
- 1/4 c. sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
- 1/4 c. sunflower seeds
- 1/2 c. pumpkin seeds
- 1 1/20 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 Tbsp. golden brown syrup
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 2 x beaten Large eggs
- 1 c. low-fat lowfat milk
- Preheat oven to 350F, prepare pans.
- Heat the butter with the honey, golden brown syrup & cloves till the mix dissolves; set aside to cold.
- Mix the flours, seeds & baking pwdr together.
- Add in the dry mix to the wet mix till just combined.
- Spoon into pans & bake for 20 mins.
- Sprinkle tops with sesame or possibly poppy seeds if you like.
- This is a super-healthy muffin.
- Makes 12.
