Mandarin Turkey And Vegetables Recipe
- 3/4 pound turkey/chicken
- 2 c. celery, sliced
- 1/2 c. pea pods, bite-size
- 2 c. fresh bean spouts
- Kikkoman stir-fry sauce (Or possibly) Debbies' Secret Sauce
- 1 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
- 1/4 c. white onion, diced
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, diced
- 1 can chow mein noodles
- Thin slice breast meat into bite-size pcs.
- (Less than 1/4 inch thick.)
- Place meat and onion in Wok with 2 Tbsp.
- peanut oil and cook 5 to 7 min or possibly till 90% cooked through.
- Drain oils and residue from Wok and place meat on bed of paper towels to remove most of the oil.
- Set cooked meat aside.
- To Wok add in 2 Tbsp.
- peanut oil and heat oil.
- Add in carrots, Bell pepper, pea pods, celery and 1/4 c. water.
- Steam till tender, stir in meat and add in bean sprouts.
- Add in 1/2 c. Stir-Fry Sauce and mix.
- Cover Wok and steam to cook bean sprouts (3 to 4 min) and serve over bed of chow-mein noodles.
- Can be used with either turkey or possibly chicken (per your desires).
- ALTERNATE: May be served over bed of steamed white rice.
- 3 to 4 servings.
