Ellen's Easy Napa Salad
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 2 pkg. ramen noodles, crushed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 head napa cabbage
- 1 bunch scallions
- Saute seeds, almonds and noodles in butter over medium heat until golden brown.
- Drain on papaer towels and cool.
- Heat oil, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce until sugar dissolves.
- Cool.
- Slice cabbage into ribbons and slice scallions thinly.
- To serve, mound cabbage/onion mix in bowl, place seed/nut mix on top as you like.
- Stir dressing and use as much to your liking.
