Kielbasa And Pasta Primavera Recipe
- 1/2 lb uncooked whole wheat linguine
- 1 lb kielbasa (cut 1/2 inch thick)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- 1 red bell pepper (cut into thin strips)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper or 1 1/2 teaspoons ground red pepper
- 4 fresh garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1.tut water for pasta on high-heat.
- 2.tn large pot cook Kielbasa in Olive oil on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- 3.tdd onion and garlic, cook on medium-high for another 3-5 minutes.
- 4.tdd in the peppers, parsley, oregano, and cayenne pepper and lower heat to medium-low.
- 5.tPasta water should be boiling now. Put pasta in water.
- 6.took peppers until tender. Cook pasta al dente.
- 7.ttrain and toss in cooked pasta; add grated cheese and toss well.
- Refrigerate leftovers; this meal is even better the next day!
- Adjust amounts of meat, veggies to your taste.
