Baked Mackerel With Butter And Vinegar Recipe
- 2 lrg fillets of mackerel
- 50 gm (thick) slice of butter
- 2 Tbsp. sherry or possibly walnut vinegar
- 1 sm handful of minced dill
- Put the two fillets of fish in a shallow dish large sufficient so which they fit comfortably.
- Dot with butter and pour over the vinegar.
- Season with finely minced dill some salt and a few grinds of pepper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees C/400 degrees F/Gas 6 for 12-15 min till the fish has turned opaque and juicy.
- Eat warm with bread to mop up the juices.
- Serves 2
