Italian Sausage with Green Peppers and Potatoes
- 2 pounds Italian Sausage, Cut Into 1"-2" Pieces
- 8 whole Medium Red Potatoes, Cut Into Quarters
- 2 whole Green Bell Peppers, Cut Into 1" Pieces
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large casserole or baking dish, combine sausage, potatoes and green peppers.
- Drizzle with oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over top.
- Mix with hands, evenly coating sausage, potatoes and peppers with oil and seasonings.
- Bake in a 350-degree oven until potatoes are cooked through (pierced easily with a fork) and sausage is nice and brown, about 2 hours.
- Stir a couple of times during the cooking process to cook evenly.
- This recipe is extremely adaptable.
- Use more or less of any ingredient to your taste or needs.
- I dont even measure anymore.
- I think the original called for minced garlic and diced onion but Im too busy to mince and no one in my family likes onion.
- This recipe can be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to cook.
