Chocolate Crunchy Caramel Chews Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. all natural Grandma's molasses
- 2 c. crushed bite size crispy rice squares
- 40 Kraft caramels
- 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. (1 c.) Nestle Toll House semi sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 c. minced walnuts
- Heat butter with molasses over low heat.
- Stir in rice squares; press into greased 9 inch square pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
- Heat caramels with lowfat milk in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently till smooth.
- Pour over crust, sprinkle with chocolate morsels and nuts.
- Cold.
- Cut into squares.
- Makes 16 squares.
