Bananas and Spice

  1. Cut bananas in half lengthwise and crosswise.
  2. Melt margarine or butter in a skillet.
  3. Add brown sugar, stir until dissolved.
  4. Add lemon juice and spices.
  5. Cook bananas for five minutes, gently turning them.
  6. Serve bananas warm with sauce or over vanilla ice cream.
