Turtle Cake
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 34 cups all-purpose flour
- 34 cup hershey's cocoa
- 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 12 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 12 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup boiling water
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 12 ounces dulce de leche
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix dry cake ingredients in medium mixing bowl.
- Combine egg, milk, vegetable oil and vanilla in mixer.
- Gradually add dry cake ingredients until blended.
- Add boiling water.
- Pour into 3- 9" round cake pans.
- Bake 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched.
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
- Swirl in dulce de leche and beat until fluffy.
- Spread between cake layers, adding pecans.
