Mom's Lasagne

  1. In a large skillet, brown meat and drain.
  2. Add spaghetti sauce.
  3. Simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Cook lasagne noodles according to package directions.
  5. Lay flat on foil to cool.
  6. In a large bowl combine cottage cheese, 1-1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
  7. Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 13x9 pan.
  8. Lay out 4 pieces of lasagne noodles across the sauce.
  9. Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
  10. Repeat layers twice.
  11. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup remaining mozzarella cheese.
  12. Cover with foil.
  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  14. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
  15. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
