Sorrel Pesto
- 14 cup organic green onion
- 12 cup plus 1 tsp. pure 100% olive oil, divided
- 2 (75 ml) packages sorrel
- 14 cup slivered almonds
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest and lemon juice
- 12 teaspoon salt
- In a skillet on medium heat, cook green onions, with 1 teaspoons olive oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Place onions and the remaining ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.
- Enjoy with baked chicken breasts, fish, pasta or vegetables.
