Charleston Rice
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Smoked Ham, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1 Tbsp. hot pepper sauce
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add next 5 ingredients; cook and stir 5 min.
- or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Stir in tomatoes and water.
- Bring to boil.
- Add rice and hot sauce; stir.
- Cover.
- Remove from heat.
- Let stand 5 min.
- or until liquid is absorbed; stir.
