Leppy's Cajun Shrimp
- 1 lb shrimp, shells removed
- 14 cup butter
- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
- 1 bay leaf, crushed
- 1 garlic clove, crushed (Or 1 Tbls Minced)
- 12 teaspoon dried basil
- 12 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 12 teaspoon paprika
- 12 teaspoon dry crushed red pepper
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (I use Red Hot)
- Melt butter....saute shrimp add wet ingredients and then the dry ingredients and serve over rice or pasta.
- Note: I prep the dry ingredients in a ramikin and the wet ingredients in a seperate ramikin to add to the shrimp just before they are done.
