G.'S Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe
- 1 pound peeled shrimps
- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 pound ham (sliced 1/2 inch thick)
- 1/4 c. green onions (shallots)
- 1/4 c. butter
- 6 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- Red pepper (cayenne)
- Tony Chachere's Seasoning (optional but preferred)
- Cook rice thoroughly.
- Dice ham and shrimp into small pcs.
- Cook ham and shrimp together in 1/3 c. of water.
- Add in butter and soy sauce to the shrimp and ham mix.
- Add in red pepper and Tony Chachere's seasoning to taste.
- Fry Large eggs together with green onions.
- Add in Large eggs and rice to the ham mix and mix thoroughly.
