Candied Pickle Sticks Recipe

  1. NOTE: The pickled sweet cherry peppers should be coarsely minced.
  2. Remove the tips from the pickles.
  3. Cut the pickles into medium sticks, drain.
  4. Mix the pickles and the remaining ingredients in a glass bowl and cover.
  5. Chill for at least 12 hrs.
  6. Stir the pickle mix till all the sugar is dissolved.
  7. Pack the pickles in small jars and add in the syrup to cover them.
  8. Cover and chill for at least 24 hrs before using but no longer than 2 weeks.
  9. Makes 1 qt of candied pickle sticks.
