Blushing Pears

  1. Just follow our simple steps
  2. Mix 2 pkg (4-serving size each) Jell-O Raspberry Jelly Powder and 4 cups water in a large saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat, stirring frequently until jelly powder is completely dissolved.
  4. Add 4 firm ripe peeled pears, such as Bosc, Bartlett or D'Anjou; partially cover saucepan with lid.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 20 min.
  6. or just until pears are tender, stirring gently every 10 min.
  7. Remove pears from liquid; discard liquid.
  8. Serve pears warm or cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to overnight.
  9. Top each pear with 2 Tbsp.
  10. thawed Cool Whip Topping, if desired.
