Beef & Broccoli Supper
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 34 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into 3x1/2 strips
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut into 1inch pieces
- cooked rice
- in 10" skillet melt butter until sizzling.
- add broccoli and onion.
- cook over medium heat, stirring, until crispy tender.
- meanwhile in medium bowl stir together remaining ingredients except steak, tomatoes, rice.
- add sirloin strips, let stand 5 minutes.
- add sirloin and marinade to vegetable mixture, continue cooking stirring until meat is browned.
- stir in tomatoes, cover, let stand 2 minutes or until heated through.
- serve meat and vegetables with juices over rice.
