Pear Galettes with Vanilla Cream
- 2 pears
- 1 sheet puff pastry dough, cut into 4 squares
- 1 egg white, lightly whisked
- 1 teaspoons caster sugar
- 125g tub PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 2 tablespoons light cream
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Peel, core and slice pears keeping attached at the stem end.
- Place each onto a square of pastry, fanning out at the base.
- Brush each pear and pastry with the egg white, sprinkle with sugar and bake on a lined oven tray at 200 degrees C for 15 minutes, or until golden and pear is tender.
- Mix together the Philly*, cream, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Serve galettes warm with Philly* cream.
