Shrimp and Asparagus Pasta
- 1/4 of a 500-g pkg. spaghettini pasta, uncooked
- 1/2 lb. asparagus, trimmed, cut in 2-inch pieces
- 12 cleaned large shrimp (about 140 g), cooked Safeway 1 lb For $8.99 thru 02/09
- 1 tsp. grated lemon zest
- 1-1/2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 2 Tbsp. Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits
- 1/4 cup Kraft Calorie-Wise Creamy Caesar Dressing
- Cook pasta as directed on pkg., adding asparagus to the cooking water for the last 2 min.
- of the pasta cooking time.
- Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water.
- Return pasta mixture to saucepan.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
- Moisten with some of the reserved cooking water, if desired.
