Czechoslovakian Chicken With Dumplings Recipe
- 2 1/2 lbs. chicken, cut up
- 2-3 tbsp. Crisco
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 c. water
- 2-3 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 pt. lowfat sour cream
- Paprika
- Disjoint chicken into serving pcs.
- Brown in shortening.
- Add in water to cover and salt.
- Simmer.
- Cook about 45 min or possibly till done.
- In the meantime, make dumplings.
- When done, remove chicken.
- Thicken gravy with flour, and add in lowfat sour cream and paprika.
- Add in dumplings.
- This can be frzn and reheated.
