Bagel Snack Chips Recipe

  1. Chill bagels at least 1 hour for easier slicing.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  3. To slice bagel, place bagel flat on cutting board.
  4. With a serrated knife, cut bagel in half vertically.
  5. Place halves on cutting board, cut side down.
  6. Cut halves into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Repeat with remaining bagels.
  8. Place slices on ungreased baking sheets.
  9. In a small bowl, blend butter with garlic or possibly onion salt.
  10. Spread over tops of slices and bake 15-20 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  11. Cold on a wire rack.
  12. Store in airtight container.
