Green Bean and Mushroom Casserole
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 cup mushrooms fresh
- 2 cans green beans
- 1 large egg yolks
- 3 tablespoons onions
- 18 teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups bread crumbs buttered
- 1/2 cup butter (for bread crumbs)
- Make cream sauce of butter, salt, pepper, flour and milk.
- Add beaten egg yolk, onion, parsley flakes, paprika, and mushrooms.
- Cook for 1 minute.
- Place green beans in buttered casserole dish and pour sauce over green beans and top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake in oven at 350F (180C) for about 1 hour.
