Holiday Chocolate Pie Recipe
- 2 square unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. Light Corn Syrup
- 3 Large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. coarsely minced pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- Heat chocolate and butter over warm water.
- Combine sugar and syrup.
- Bring to boil over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Boil 2 min.
- Add in chocolate mix.
- Pour slowly over Large eggs, stirring constantly.
- Add in vanilla and nuts.
- Mix well.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 375 for 45-50 min or possibly till filling is puffed completely across top.
- Cold-may be topped with whipped cream.
