No-Fry Chocolatety Apple Beignets

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cook apples and 2 Tbsp.
  3. of the sugar in small saucepan 7 min.
  4. or until apples are tender and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Spoon into bowl.
  6. Add chocolate; mix well.
  7. Gently separate dough into 16 triangles.
  8. Place 2 tsp.
  9. apple mixture in centre of each triangle.
  10. Fold triangle into packet to enclose filling; seal seams by pressing edges of dough together with fingertips.
  11. Place on baking sheet.
  12. Repeat for each triangle.
  13. Bake 10 min.
  14. or until golden brown.
  15. Transfer to plate.
  16. Sprinkle with remaining 2 Tbsp.
  17. icing sugar.
  18. Serve warm.
