Mai Tai
- Ice
- 3/4 ounce gold rum
- 3/4 ounce dark rum
- 1 1/2 teaspoons orange curacao
- 1 1/2 teaspoons orgeat syrup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Simple Syrup
- 1 1/4 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce overproof rum
- 1 lime wheel (optional)
- 1 sugarcane stick (optional)
- 1 mint sprig (optional)
- 1 edible orchid (optional)
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Add all of the ingredients except the overproof rum and garnishes; stir, then top with the overproof rum.
- If desired, garnish with the lime wheel, sugarcane stick, mint sprig and orchid.
