Bami Goreng (Indonesian Fried Egg Noodles) Recipe

  1. Set cooked noodles aside.
  2. Heat wok; add in oil.
  3. Stir-fry onion and garlic for one minute.
  4. Add in meat and shrimp, trassi (if not available, omit), and sambal oelek; fry for further 3 min.
  5. Add in carrot and leek and fry for 4 more min.
  6. Add in noodles and ketjap manis.
  7. Use salt and pepper as needed
  8. (none is good) and stir-fry for 4 min more.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Delicious with warm peanut sauce.
  11. NOTES : Ketjap manis is Indonesian Sweet Soya Sauce and has a distinctive taste.
  12. Sambal oelek is Indonesian red chili paste.
