Granola Gorp *
- 3 cups granola
- 3 ounces chow mein noodles
- 1 cup peanuts salted
- 1/2 cup dates cut up
- 1/2 cup apricots cut up
- 1/2 cup raisins, seedless
- 1/4 cup margarine melted
- 6 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet) semi-sweet chips or, butterscotch chips
- 1 1/2 cups oyster crackers
- 3/4 cup pumpkin roasted
- 3/4 cup coconut shredded, flaked
- 3/4 cup m and m's
- 3/4 cup cashew nuts salted
- 3/4 cup banana chips dried
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds salted
- 1/2 cup apples cut up
- Heat oven to 350F (180C).
- Mix granola, noodles, peanuts, apricots and raisins.
- Pour margarine over granola mixture; toss until evenly coated.
- Spread in 9x13" ungreased pan.
- Bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes; cool.
- Stir in the chips.
- Store in tightly covered container.
- VARIATIONS : Add any combination of the above variations with the granola.
- If using M and M's, add with the chips
