The Chef's Chili Recipe
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups yellow onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 (8 ounce) cans chili beans, mild
- 1 (8 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- 2 cups water
- 14 cup chili powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 1 12 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- Brown the ground beef.
- Combine everything into a crockpot or soup pan and gently simmer overnight or for six to seven hours.
