Uncle Dean's Jerky

  1. Mix
  2. Set 8 hours in fridge
  3. Bake 3 hours @ 140 Degrees.
  4. Tip: It is easier to slice the meat thin if it is partially frozen.
  5. I used 3 lbs of deer steaks.
  6. (you can also use beef, turkey breast ect.)
  7. I also used a gallon zipper bag to marinate it in, mixing it occasionally.
  8. I marinated it for about 36 hours.
  9. Also, My oven doesn't go to 140 degrees so i used my dehydrator.
  10. I dried it for about 7 hours.
  11. It is fairly crunchy.
  12. My dehydrator doesn't have a temperature setting, so I don't know what the temperature was.
