Hummus (without Tahini) - Lactose Free / Treenut Allergy Friendly
- 1 can Garbanzo beans (Chick peas)
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp earthbalance vegan butter
- 1/2 tsp greek blend seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Habanero powder or 1/2 habanero pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp jalapeno powder, or 1/2 jalapeno pepper (optional)
- Heat beans (with liquid) and garlic cloves over stove on low heat just until warm.
- Simmer over heat for roughly 4 minutes.
- Blend lemon juice, heated ingredients, butter, greek blend seasonings in blender until creamy.
- (if you choose to add the peppers blend them in also.)
