Barbeque Shrimp Caliente Recipe
- 3 lbs. unpeeled headless shrimp
- 1 pound butter (4 sticks)
- 2 tbsp. black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/8 teaspoon oregano
- 3 toes garlic, chopped
- 3 green onions, minced
- Wash and drain shrimp well.
- Place in a 9"x13" baking pan.
- Place remaining ingredients in a 1 1/2 qt saucepan and cook for 5 min.
- Pour over shrimp.
- Place under broiler till shrimp are pink on top.
- Turn shrimp and continue to cook till done.
- Serve with crispy French bread - perfect for dipping in butter sauce.
- Serves 4 to 6.
