Hamburger Stuffed Bread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 slices American cheese
- 1 loaf unsliced French bread
- Brown hamburger; add vegetables and cook until tender; drain. Stir in cheese soup, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
- Slice off top of bread loaf; hollow out center.
- Reserve bread from center of loaf; tear into small cubes.
- Stir bread cubes into meat mixture.
- Spoon mixture into hollowed loaf; cut cheese slices diagonally.
- Arrange on top of loaf; place top of bread atop cheese slices.
- Wrap in foil and heat at 350u0b0 about 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
