Apple Crunch Dessert

  1. Mix oats, cereal, flour, sugar, soda and spices.
  2. Cut in butter or margarine until crumbly.
  3. Pat half the mixture into a 8x8x2 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in 350F (180C) oven 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions except use the 1 1/2 cups milk.
  6. Pour over crumb layer.
  7. Mix remaining ingredients; spoon over pudding.
  8. Top with remaining crumbs.
  9. Bake, uncovered, in 350F (180C) oven 30 to 35 minutes.
  10. Serve warm or cool with ice cream, if desired.
